Namkaran Puja

Namkaran Puja

A baby's naming ceremony, known as Namkaran Puja, is a religious ritual. Panditji, depending on the baby's Nakshatra, recommends a beginning letter for the child's name at this ceremony. Namkaran Puja is a ceremony in which the kid is given Samskaras, which are seen to be very important in the development of a child's character and upbringing.

On the eleventh day of the month, this ritual is frequently held. This puja may also be performed three months later or on the baby's first birthday.

Pantitji performs the ritual, which includes reciting Vedic mantras and speaking the child's name into the right ear while performing Gauri Ganesh Puja and Kalash Puja. A havan is then conducted to invoke the blessing of the gods on the baby's Graha Shanti.
